Date: 25 February 2012
Place: Aunty Cherrie's Kitchen Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia
Dish: "Pagoda Chicken Wings","Steamed Baby Kailan", "Sour Plum Fried Hong Chou", "Saucy Shrimp over Chinese Glass Noodle", and "Charcoal-boiled Lotus Soup"

Appointment for dinner was already set three weeks in advance, and it was to be at my sister's home. Both my sister, and her husband (my brother-in-law) would invite us for dinner every now and then (I can't recall now how many times it has been) at their place, for the best home-cooked food! The chef responsible for the food is none other than Aunty Cherrie, my sister's mother-in-law :-)

It is no exageration that it is really yummy. We always look towards the dinner, as every dish is special in itself. Hence, each time we receive an invitation, the answer is always a YES in unison!! And all other dinner appointments will take second place, haha.

When we arrive at the gate, Julius (their miniature schnauzer) came running, and jumped in excitement. He's such a cute dog!! (Scroll all the way down to see his picture!).

Tonite's dinner consisted of "Pagoda Chicken Wings", "Steamed Baby Kailan", "Sour Plum Fried Hong Chou", "Saucy Shrimp over Chinese Glass Noodle", "Braised Mushroom and Squid", and "Charcoal-boiled Lotus Soup".

The preparation starts early in the morning, and she single-handledly prepares all the dishes, including her signature "Belacan" Sauce!. Every dish is cooked to perfection, and you could almost see the sense of satisfaction in her face when dinner is ready, and she would invite everyone to the table with her embracing motherly smile!

When dinner is finished, we will be enjoying her coffee/ tea in front of the television:-)

Thanks Aunty Cherrie for another Wonderful & Sumptuous Dinner!

P/S: While we are enjoying dinner, Julius would be prancing up and down the table to see what he is missing :-)
